Na tien intensieve dagen van experimenteren, creëren en onderzoeken, nodigen wij u uit voor de slotpresentatie van het Fiber Fever Summer Camp.
24 makers, elk met een unieke achtergrond en visie, hebben samengewerkt aan projecten die de grenzen van materiaal en techniek verkennen. Tijdens deze doorlopende presentatie krijgt u een exclusieve inkijk in vier fascinerende thema's die uit het kamp zijn voortgekomen:
Knot Knot
Een verbindingsstuk dat takken van de Japanse duizendknoop samenbrengt tot een duurzame constructie. Door gebruik te maken van een composiet uit de restmaterialen van deze invasieve plant, ontstaat een biodegradeerbaar bouwwerk.
Layer Slayer
Een speels experiment dat 3D-geprinte cellulose integreert op een flexibele ondergrond. Het resultaat? Een grensdoorbrekend textiel dat zowel stevig als buigzaam is, en de traditionele textielvormen herdefinieert.
Relational Resources
Dit project overbrugt culturele en ecologische verschillen door in gesprek te gaan over samenleven – niet alleen met elkaar, maar ook met planten en dingen. Een buurtproject dat doet nadenken over onze relatie met de wereld om ons heen.
Last Earth Benders
Een eigentijdse herinterpretatie van de eeuwenoude bouwtechniek van kleigooiing. Met behulp van een geautomatiseerde 'spuger' en lokaal gewonnen aarde, herintroduceren we een duurzame bouwmethode voor de 21e eeuw.
Wij nodigen je uit om samen met ons de resultaten van deze verrassende en grensdoorbrekende projecten te ontdekken.
Deze vier thema’s zijn slechts het begin van verdere ontwikkelingen. Net zoals wij voortbouwen op de kennis en inzichten van andere makers, zal ook dit werk voeding zijn voor toekomstige projecten en nieuwe inzichten.

After ten intensive days of experimenting, creating, and researching, we invite you to the final presentation of the Fiber Fever Summer Camp.
24 creators, each with a unique background and vision, have collaborated on projects that explore the boundaries of material and technique. During this continuous presentation, you’ll gain an exclusive insight into four fascinating themes that emerged from the camp:
Knot Knot
A connection piece that brings together branches of the Japanese knotweed into a sustainable structure. By using a composite made from the residual materials of this invasive plant, a biodegradable construction is created.
Layer Slayer
A playful experiment that integrates 3D-printed cellulose onto a flexible substrate. The result? A groundbreaking textile that is both strong and flexible, redefining traditional textile forms.
Relational Resources
This project bridges cultural and ecological differences by engaging in dialogue about living together – not just with each other, but also with plants and objects. A neighborhood project that prompts reflection on our relationship with the world around us.
Last Earth Benders
A contemporary reinterpretation of the ancient building technique of earth throwing. With the help of an automated ‘spitter’ and locally sourced soil, we reintroduce a sustainable construction method for the 21st century.

These four themes are just the beginning of further developments. Just as we build on the knowledge and insights of other creators, this work will also inspire future projects and new insights.
