The inspiring Silvia Federici said once in an interview about the struggle of the Commons: "The garden is a place where not only food is being produced, but also where knowledge is being produced. Knowledge about cultivating, growing, preserving, establishing connection with the land. This is the terrain where a lot of opportunities are opening up. This is the terrain we need to occupy” . As a neighbour-gardener, I happily occupy Timelab's incredible edible garden!
Even before I started studying garden- and landscape architecture, I was a bit of an architect, outlining, developing and implementing HR policies, frameworks and processes for organisations both in and outside of the EU. Gardening (at Timelab) provides me with mental headspace whilst brooding on new ways to create space for people, to process, to play and to work on plan(t)s.
