Sprinting 2023 : Contribution and the gift

Sprinting is setting up a concentrated time for practical learning and peer exchange that leads to the creation of a knowledge body about systemic and organisational topics related to in the relationship between the artist and the host.

During the sprint 2023 we will further develop of knowledge that, for every sprint, finds its own way into a program. This year we focus on equal contributions of all participants and the role of Timelab as a host.

On the program is a workshop on consensual giving and collaborative and transparent creation using a wikimedia platform. 

Timelab full team will be present and plays the role of one of the contributors and peer learners, but also as an agent or translator of the insights towards the operational and content work of the organisation. Within these understandings the sprinting event plays a crucial role in how the organisation develops but also in the life and practice of the sprinters. Sprint 23 is all about understanding contribution and gift in a collective space. From 23 on, we added the activity of shadowing cultural workers at hosting organisations to the artistic program of Timelab. The knowledge built during the sprint will be the inspiration of this exchange.
