In zijn werk, gaat Stefan Klein vooral aan het werk met complexe systemen die vertaald worden in (performatieve) conceptuele vormen. Hij gebruikt deductie als een methode, gedaande van installaties en interventies. Hij is geïnteresseerd in kleine gebaren en gedrukte publicaties als conceptueel werk en reflecteert op performance als een actie van een gedocumenteerde, performatieve actie. Hij werd opgeleid als socioloog en is master in Fine Arts (Bauhaus University, Weimar). Zijn werk werd internationaal getoond in zowel groeps- als solo-tentoonstellingen. Hij is ook mede-oprichter en drijvende kracht achter de onafhankelijke uitgeverij VERLAK. In 2017, is Klein resident in Timelab. Met zijn spannende, kleine disrupties maakt hij poëzie in onze verbeelding. Zijn werk "Infinite Alarm Clock Orchestra" werd onderdeel van het No Show Museum, een plek die hulde brengt aan het "niets" of immateriële kunst (http://www.noshowmuseum.com/en/2nd-a/stefan-klein)
Every year a group of artists gathers around a specific topic of collective interest. 4 days long, they reflect, discuss, collect and finally produce their finding into a contribution to the wikipage.
Every year, a sprint reflects on the past year of the organisation and defines questions and issues to be addressed in the future work. In a 4 days gathering the sprinters of 2020 will collectively work on strategies, tools and practices on the issue of documenting and communication.
Former residents and people from Timelab’s broader artists network have gathered occasionally over the years. Since spring 2017, we invited them to take part in the yearly Sprint. We call them Sprinters.
