Intentional uncertainties

23 Sep 2024

In the ever-pressing face of ecological crisis, the imperative to challenge current production models has never been more urgent. The intersection of biomaterial production, circular supply chains, and ecological landscape management stands as a beacon of hope amidst environmental turbulence. During the presentation I will share my experiences, developed during the past four years, in researching and prototyping local sustainable ecosystems for biomaterials production: from the field to the artifacts, through their materials. Suggesting that open-source technologies can play an important role in facilitating local supply chains based on regenerative and highly biodiverse productive landscapes.
