Studio HILO gaat over een spinmachine, een software programma en een nieuwe creatie van textiel. Dit project daagt het productieproces van garen uit op dezelfde manier waarop 3D-printers een revolutie teweegbrengen in de industriële productie. Met de HILO-machine en -software kunnen gebruikers de textieleigenschappen aan het begin van het productieproces bepalen: het garen.

Studio HILO is about a spinning machine, a software and a new creation of textiles. This project challenges the process of yarn production in the same way 3-D printers are revolutionising manufacturing. The HILO machine and software enable users to determine the textile properties at the very beginning of its production process: the yarn spinning.
