Fien (1989) is all about connecting people, preferably with some tasty plant based food. Fien worked more than a decade for ProVeg where she learned the do's and don'ts about sustainable behavioural change, campaigning, how to work with volunteers, fundraising, self-organising and all the rest you learn while working in a NGO.
She has a Master in Communication Sciences at UGent, worked 2 years as a radio-journalist and is interested in everything on the crossroads of communication, sustainability and behavioural change. This eclectic background is the perfect match to work on the Foodways project, where we're developing an eco learning system around tracing our roots through food. Oh, and she plays improv comedy, loves sports that include water and a ball and can philosophize a whole evening about the importance of homemade soup.
