Fiber Fever Summercamp : From textile to composite
5 partners challenge 12 designers on a 8 days 24/7 summercamp to make, eat, play, learn and meet in the Timelab jungle.
Isabeau Goddé (°1998) is a Belgian designer with a Master's degree in textile design from KASK School of Arts in Ghent. With her graduation project, No Time To Waste, she searched for ways to implement waste from the textile industry in a circular economy.
For Isabeau, an end product is not the most important step in the design process. She attaches more importance the process in itself more: learning, experimenting and discovering the hidden possibilities of materials and techniques. With her hands-on working method, she manages to strike a balance between science and crafts. She hopes her work inspires people to rethink the way they interact with materials.
