Fiber Fever Summercamp : From textile to composite
5 partners challenge 12 designers on a 8 days 24/7 summercamp to make, eat, play, learn and meet in the Timelab jungle.
My name is Traudi and as you guess I am originally from Germany, from Munic but I came more than 30 years to Belgium . Professionally I am not related to textile, I am a musician and work in the opera of Gent and Antwerp.
Fiber fever interests me because I am quite concerned about Fallopia Japonica wich is growing massively everywhere and the possible use of it.
Since a few years I have a beehive at the campus of the KASK and there were already some interesting collaborations.
