Basse Stittgen reveals a world through a lense of materiality. For this talk he will explore blood as a material beyond disgust and stigma.
Jierui Fang is a visiting researcher in the Sustainable Design Engineering department of IDE at TU Delft. She's interested in how biological and nature-based processes, on both the human and ecological scales, shape development opportunities and wellbeing. Her research at TU Delft focuses on the potential of biodesign practices and mycelium biomaterials in bridging human and planetary health. She holds a masters from Stanford University and bachelors from MIT in design.
